Fourth Annual Betsie Valley Run

 

Race Info

All adult races are $25, the child’s event is $12.

Both courses are fast, single-loop, on flat hard pack raised rail beds (Betsie Valley Rails to Trails) and black top country roads with some small hills. Both the 10k and Half Marathon are very scenic especially this time of the year! Race begins at Crystal Mt and finish is just east of M115 on Lindy Rd.

Adult races all begin at 9am.  

Kid's Event starts at 11:30 a.m. (The first 50 children registered will receive a FREE ride on the Crystal Coaster, a t-shirt and goodie bag!) The Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide will be open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. with a portion of each ticket sold to be donated to the Friends of the Betsie Valley District Library.

Package pick and late registration ($30) is Saturday night 5:30 p.m. and Sunday morning 7:30 a.m.  No late registration fee for children.  

Our package is phenomenal. Posters, many great trinkets and discounts to local area stores. All registration, package pick up, award ceremony is at the Crystal Conference Center, lower level in front of the ski hills.

This year we will again use the Champion Chip. The chip triggers timing information from the time you cross the starting line until you cross the finish line. Use of the chip helps to administer the race more effectively and provide race times more quickly. It will be crucial that you read the chip lacing information provided in your race packets. Chips must be returned at the conclusion of the race unless you own your own chip. Failure to do so will result in a $30 fee assessed to you.

Prizes are all about the sport of road running. In addition to great Crystal Mt. packages of overnight stays with golf and/ skiing we intend to give prizes i.e. runner’s watch, running shoes specifically designed for runners.
